Nexsphere are gelatin microspheres in powder form designed for endovascular embolization. They are composed of a hydrophilic material that is bioresorbable within one month and are used in arterial embolization procedures under fluoroscopic guidance with contrast media to temporarily occlude blood supply to target tissues.

Nexsphere is also available in the Nexsphere-H version, with a resorption time of 24 hours.

Nexsphere and Nexsphere-H are indicated for the treatment of liver tumors, uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and arterial bleeding.
