Corsair PRO

ASAHI Corsair Pro is an innovative device that combines in a single device the performance of a microcatheter and the features of a penetration catheter: its peculiar screw-shaped structure consisting of 10 twisted guides (2 thick and 8 thin) ensures high crossability in the septal channels (coronary and peripheral) and in particularly serrated lesions.

The screw structure, the possibility of performing selective infusions of contrast liquid and the small distal size guarantee a better performance than that offered by balloons for total occlusion, reducing also the risk of vessel perforation.

The 5 mm tapered end, made of a tungsten mixture, and the 60 cm distal tip (20 cm of which has a screw structure) coated with hydrophilic material make ASAHI Corsair Pro a device indicated both for the anterograde access (135 cm) and for the retrograde approach (150 cm) in the treatment of CTO.

Compared to the previous version, the ASAHI Corsair Pro microcatheter has:

  • BETTER TRACKABILITY, due to the improvement of the transition between the steel structure and the tungsten tip
  • LOWER RISK OF KINKING, due to the new design of the proximal hub

ASAHI CORSAIR HAS THE TYPICAL FEATURES OF A MICROCATHETER:

ASAHI Corsair Pro ensures better control of the guide wire: it reinforces the transmission of torsion of the guides and ensures strong support for the guide in the case of complex lesions.

ASAHI Corsair Pro enables selective infusions of contrast liquids to be performed.

ASAHI CORSAIR HAS THE FEATURES OF A PENETRATION CATHETER:

ASAHI Corsair Pro supports both an anterograde approach and a retrograde approach to the treatment of CTO.

ASAHI Corsair Pro is used to treat more complex lesions and CTO.
