BYCROSS is a bidirectional rotational atherectomy system compatible with 6F introducers, designed to be inserted into the peripheral arterial vascular system via a guidewire and introducer, with the aim of restoring the patency of chronically occluded vessels.

The device consists of a coaxial and flexible rotating shaft equipped with an expandable tip, which can operate at two different speeds. BYCROSS is battery-powered and therefore does not require an external power supply system.

During the procedure, calcified material is aspirated by means of an integrated pump. The removed material is conveyed through the introducer into a dedicated collection bag.

The system is available in lengths of 50 cm, 70 cm, and 95 cm and is compatible with 0.035”, 0.018”, and 0.014” guidewires. The device can also be used without a guidewire.

Two tip configurations are also available: one with a 1.7 mm diameter and the other with a 4.7 mm diameter.
